Last updated November 3, 2026. These terms cover your use of texaspermitwatch.com, operated by HD Signals LLC (“we”). By using the site you agree to them.

What the service is

Texas Permit Watch gathers public records and organizes them into lists of businesses that appear to be new or on the way. A record is a signal, not a promise: a business may open late, change its name or never open. What this covers. Pool and spa, roofing and solar permits from the cities of Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, Plano, Corpus Christi and six Austin-area cities, plus Arlington (pools only) and Frisco (Collin County side only). That's about a quarter of Texans, not the whole state. San Antonio and Corpus Christi arrive in monthly batches, Houston weekly. Contractor names are shown only when they are a business.

Free list and Pro membership

• The free list is free. We may change what it includes.
• Pro is $29 a month, billed by HD Signals LLC through Stripe, and renews until you cancel. It appears on your statement as TX PERMIT WATCH.
• You can cancel anytime from your account page; cancelling stops future charges and access runs to the end of the month you paid for, so we don't prorate partial months.
• If a charge was a mistake, or you were charged within the last 14 days and Pro isn't what you expected, contact us and we'll refund that charge in full.
• Promo codes apply as described when you redeem them and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Using the data

The lists are for your own business use. Don't resell or republish them in bulk. Follow the law when you contact a business, including anti-spam and telemarketing rules.

No warranty

Public records contain mistakes and we can make our own. The service is provided as is, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
